Where to Begin as a Researcher?

Please see the "How To's of COMIRB" page for instructions on submitting many of the documents and forms required for Human Subject Research.

See the Policy & Procedures page for instructions detailing investigator responsibilities and the complete COMIRB Policy and Procedures document

What if I want to enroll in a Study?
Please see the Research Subject Information page if you are intested in being a participant in a study.

COMIRB will begin training sessions on the new electronic system. The new system will enable you to access information on the status of your protocols in a manner similar to the old protocol manager.

The training will also provide information on electronic submission of protocols. COMIRB is hoping to begin the process of accepting documents electronically in November and will start with the Request for Exemption form.

The training sessions will begin on October 6 and will be held twice a week until the end of the year in Ed2 North room 2201AB.

These will all be held in the same computer lab training room in Education 2 North, 2201AB

These sessions are intended for faculty and staff at the Anschutz Medical Campus and so should include researchers at UCH, TCH as well as UCD. We are in the process of scheduling concurrent webinar sessions and live sessions at DHHA and the VA. We will let you know as soon as they are available.

The computer lab where these sessions are held only can run 30 computers at a time. You cannot register for the sessions. It will be on a first come basis. Please remember that there are numerous sessions.
